Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the major waterfall on the Zambezi River in Africa. It is famous for being the largest waterfall in the world, in the wet season. The African people who live around the falls call it Mosi-oa-Tunya which means “smoke that thunders“. The water makes a roaring noise as it falls over the cliff and down into the Zambezi River below. A cloud of water vapor is always seen around the falls.
Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River is located on the border between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe in the continent of Africa. The Zambezi River is the largest river in Africa and one of the longest. It flows 1,687 miles across Zambia, Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique until it reaches the Indian Ocean. 550 million litres of water drops 305 feet (93 m) every minute over the cliff at Victoria Falls and continues flowing downstream as the lower Zambezi River.

Itinerary
Day 1, 30th March 2021: Travel
Depart Lilongwe and continue to Zambia. This is a long drive, with a brief stopover as required. ETA in Lusaka is late afternoon. On arrival we check into our partner’s Lodge or Flats in the heart of the city of Lusaka for an overnight. This will be a bed and breakfast arrangement [Driving time – approx 10 hrs].
Day 2, 31st March 2021: Travel
After breakfast we continue through Lusaka, over the Kafue River to Victoria Falls. ETA in Livingstone is mid afternoon and again reliant on current road conditions. Check into our well appointed and furnished Hotel rooms.
Day 3, 1st April 2021: Complete Tour of Victoria falls
This is your first day of the tour open for you to experience the numerous activities and options that have established this area as the “Adrenaline Capital of Africa”. You have the entire 2 full days to pursue the activity of your choice. Your guide is on hand throughout your stay to help you if needed.

After breakfast you depart at 07hr for the falls. Your first activity of the day is a comprehensive tour of the falls on the Zambian side. You will, on this activity visit the information office where you read all information about the falls. You visit the flood plains, the Knife Edge Bridge, the islands, close range with the water curtain, the boiling point, the historical bridge and many other interesting features of the falls. After tour of the falls you walk straight to the historical bridge on the Zambezi. This bridge is also the boundary between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Day 4, 2nd April 2021: Tour of Victoria Falls continued
After breakfast you will be free to proceed with any other activities of your choice which are not part of this package. You can also choose to take a tour of Livingstone city as your activity of the day will be late afternoon.
Day 5, 3rd April 2021: Livingstone to Lusaka Travel
After breakfast, we depart back to Lusaka. A leisurely drive brings us to our lodge / flat in Lusaka for an Overnight [Driving time – approx 8 hrs]
Day 6, 4th April 2021: Shopping Spree in Lusaka
After breakfast, clients will be free to make a tour and shopping trips in Lusaka. This day is very open for any Lusaka based activities.
Day 7, 5th April 2021: Shopping Spree in Lusaka
After breakfast, we return to Lilongwe. Bottled Water, Snacks and Soft drinks will be served intransit.
